We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys working in a manufacturing plant environment and participating in activities that support people, production, reliability and cost improvements to ensure the on-going success of the business, meanwhile maintaining a comfortable and safe working environment.
About the role
Reporting to the general manager at ALT America Inc. you will:
- Be responsible for production line to manufacture according to requirements of TS16949
- Promote the concept of 7S
- Meet the requirements of business orders, and ensure the OTD
- The material plan and production plan
- Warehouse management and ERP system maintenance
- The production line operators’ management and KPI
- Production equipment maintenance and tooling management
- Present problems in systems flow or breakdown issues
- Regular quality data statistics, analysis, and long-term improvement solution
- The analysis of customer complaints and long-term improvement solution
About You
To be successful in this role you will need:
- 5+ years’ working experience in manufacturing factories, 2+ years’ experience of the production supervisor, experience in auto parts company would be extremely helpful.
- Sound knowledge of TS16949, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001, 7S and lean manufacturing
- Excellent communication skills and a strong client focus skills
- Highly developed organizational skills and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and a strong attention to detail
- Experienced in 2D drawing making, and simple 3D parametric modeling
- Proficient with office software, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Successful candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field and good knowledge of production assembly process
- Applicants with Mandarin communication ability will also be highly desirable
